Creative Rug Hooking with Aileen Anderson

Learn to hook with different fibers as well as a variety of hooking "stitches". You will also cover making and adding dimensional flowers to a hooked piece.There will be a small pattern and kit offered.

Needle Felting witch or snowman class with Vicki Hardcastle.

Wool Applique class with Carolyn Snyder

Fine hooking with Victoria Hart Ingalls

Dye Class with Gina Levesque.

All classes are $50.00 and that include lunch. Kit cost for each class is payed to teacher day of class.

  First class I want to tell you about is with...... Aileen Anderson....Bear Creek Rugs...

 From Aileen....
 Learn how to dye hand painted wool and hook with it. This a fun and creative technique that can be used to make glorious sunsets, skies, water and other backgrounds. Kit cost $45.00, kit will contain 1/2 yard of wool for painting, dyes and brushes for project and detailed project notes for recreating your wool at home. Optional: Bring a pattern you already have and we can discuss how you might use hand painted wool in it. I will also bring some patterns that would be great for hand painted wool.

New Blog Just for Rug Hooking in Arkansas

I am starting this new blog to keep everyone posted on the rug hooking events I host in Arkansas.As I talked to the ladies at the hook-in this weekend, I seen the need for a blog with more info about the NWA Hook-in and  Eureka Springs Rug Hooking Camps.So this will be the place for that info.I will also add pictures of the hooking events for you viewing pleasure.
