Carolyn Snyder's... "Crazy Clutch"... Class...

    Carolyn Snyder is the owner of "Cricket Street Stitches" and Cricket Street Wool" in Garden City, Kansas.
 She has her own line of wool applique patterns and for this class you will be making a sweet little "Crazy Clutch". You will use bits and pieces of wool,muslin,batting and pearl cotton to create your clutch. This is going to be a great class to learn what to do with all leftover wool we have.Or if you have someone coming with you to the Hook-In  that is not a hooker.

   June 7,2013 we will be having four classes.Many have asked,but sorry each class is a all day class so you can only take one class.Classes are $50.00 (includes lunch)
  First class I want to tell you about is with...... Aileen Anderson....Bear Creek Rugs...

 From Aileen....
 Learn how to dye hand painted wool and hook with it. This a fun and creative technique that can be used to make glorious sunsets, skies, water and other backgrounds. Kit cost $45.00, kit will contain 1/2 yard of wool for painting, dyes and brushes for project and detailed project notes for recreating your wool at home. Optional: Bring a pattern you already have and we can discuss how you might use hand painted wool in it. I will also bring some patterns that would be great for hand painted wool.

8th Annual NWA Hook-In & Rug Show...

Blackbird Wool Shop...

I finally got to go to  www.blackbirdwool.com

By the time I got over there Sherry had already add on to the shop.It is so cute.

The top three pictures are of the new part of the shop.Great big tables to hook at.

That is my hooking stuff, yes I got to hook some.

Lots of wool to pick from.

Here is Sherry showing me some of the patterns she has to choice  from.

And of course I had to do some shopping. I was also lucky and won a gift card at the retreat.Thank you Sherry for all you have brought to NWA rug hooking.
