The Eureka Springs Rug Camp Percent Hearther Ritchie! June 2014

I am so honored to bring Heather Ritchie all the way from Reeth,North Yorshire England.  I heard it through the grapevine that Heather was coming to the states in June so I jumped in and did a lot of e-mailing and with the help of Barbara Bonds,we did it and she is coming to Arkansas in June.
Heather is one of Britain's most experienced rug maker and teacher. After 25 years she has developed use of hooking or(hooky) as she calls it, proddy, mixed textures and different techniques. She uses Blankets, t-shirts,wool, cotton and yarns. Please go to her webpage and look at her work www.rugmaker.co.uk www.rugmaker.co.uk

Heather will work with any pattern but she told me that in England they just start with a blank backing and go from there.Bring all kinds of things with you and we will have a store setup with fun stuff in it.

We are doing something a little different this year. We are going to venture up to Ivy Jean's Ozark Farmstead and Shadrack Resort at 373 Fossil Cove Rd., Cape Fair, Mo.65624 just off Table Rock Lake. We will be staying in little cottages, some have 4 beds and some have 3 beds. All have fully equipped kitchens and there is a pool!

Carolyn Snyder's... "Crazy Clutch"... Class...

Carolyn Snyder is the owner of "Cricket Street Stitches" and Cricket Street Wool" in Garden City, Kansas.
She has her own line of wool applique patterns and for this class you will be making a sweet little "Crazy Clutch". You will use bits and pieces of wool, muslin, batting and pearl cotton to create your clutch. This is going to be a great class to learn what to do with all leftover wool we have.Or if you have someone coming with you to the Hook-In  that is not a hooker.

Happy Hooking,
Vicki
