2012 NWA Hook-in and Rug Show

June 9 is the date for the 7th Annual NWA Hook-in and Rug Show.We are planning a great event this you and Hope you will plan to attend. This event will be held at" The Inn of the Ozarks" in Eureka Springs Arkansas.

9:00 am till 5:00 pm 

Admission  $20.00

Includes:Lunch & Souvenir

Again this year we are having one day classes the day before the hook-in, June 8,2012 from 10:00 till 4:00.

  Classes are $50.00.   Kits cost is payed to teacher the day of class.

Victoria Hart Ingalls

This mini project has a little bit of fine hooking, a little bit of prodding and some french knotting on the back of the sheep. It also demonstrates an easy way to hook a basket. It could be framed as a picture, made into a small pillow, basket top or attached to a purse or bag. Kit cost will $35.00



Janice Johnson 

  Janice will be teaching low contract (making rug look old).

Cost of the pattern on linen is normally $73.00. I am giving a 15% discount for students making the price $63.00. Wool will be available to purchase. May use your own also.

For my class we will be needle felting. This is not the pattern above be it will be posted very soon.I want to teach you how to add felting to you rugs.You will also learn sculpting with the felt.Kit cost is $25.00 with pattern.

Truman Lake Rug Show and Hook- In.....

This weekend you will find me at the "Truman Lake Rug Show and Hook- In in Warsaw,Mo. This Hook-In is sponsored by "Saltbox Primitive Woolens."The date of the Hook-in is Sept.10,2011 from 9:00-3:00 at the Warsaw Community Building.
 This is going to be a great day with vendors on site.Maggie Bonanomi,Wendy Miller, Anita White,Renee Nanneman,Melissa Towne,Sherry DeMate and I will be there for all your hooking needs.I bet there will be fun stuff to buy too.

 These 3 rugs are by Tammy Burks and all I can say is OMG!Tammy I love them.

 These 2 are by Wilma Hill.All done in a 3 cut.

 This is one more rug by Wilma Hill.I am not sure of the size but I know it was taller then me.Wilma is the Queen of the 3 cut.

People Of the NWA Hook-in.....

 We had such a great group of hookers and some hubbies too at this years hook-in.We had people from young to not-so-young.

 As you can imagine,there was a lot of talking and laughing going on. 

 Lots of beautiful rugs were being worked on too.

Mindy and Jody helped me out a lot greeting the ladies as they came in the doors.
